In Himachal weather has been perfectly fine for apple crop which produces good quality apples. The snow and rain help the apple plants get their chilling and nutrient requirements. However, it also needs dry atmosphere for proper flowering and fruit setting in higher reaches (above 7000 feet) where the apple plants are still in pink bud stage or king bloom. It makes Himachal perfect farming area for apples with these conditions.

It all starts and ends at farmers for us. Helping farmers to grow the best crop, sell their produce at best price, and then get the best value to re-do it all again with big smile and satisfaction over years, is what we wish to achieve with our initiative of Orchards to Home.

 

Our farmers and their orchards are spread across the hills of Himachal with major crop produce coming from regions of Shimla, Kullu, Sirmour, Mandi, Chamba, & Kinnaur. Often remote and disconnected, these orchards and their farmers faces difficulty to break the barrier of series of middlemen which actually absorbs almost 80% of profitability coming from final price at which end consumer buys it.
